The Role:

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing & Content Coordinator will play a direct role in helping to grow the Medidas portfolio of brands by producing and managing marketing content, with the goal of building our brand presence and acquiring new users for our technologies. As the Marketing & Content Coordinator, you’ll work closely with our graphic designers, videographer, and video editor to create content and execute a variety of strategies across our brands. The successful candidate will work in a variety of marketing areas including B2B, B2C, email, social, web, events, and more. This position is best suited for someone with beginner-intermediate experience (2+ years), but we will consider a combination of personal qualities and skills.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Write effective and concise content for a variety of marketing endeavours including blog posts, advertising, social media, email campaigns, web content, promotional materials, video scripts and more
  • Implementing digital marketing campaigns that involve developing content, digital display ads, landing pages, social media outreach, and ongoing website support, with direction from our Marketing leads
  • Assisting in the enhancement of brand awareness through digital communication, customer engagement, and fostering business growth through effective marketing campaigns
  • Analyzing and reporting relevant weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc metrics
  • Researching the evolving digital marketing landscape including, but not limited to, analytics, pay-per-click, social media, content, SEO & email marketing, and new service additions
  • Work with all social media platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and TikTok
  • Work alongside other marketing team members to plan and execute content for a variety of brands and strategies
  • Organize and maintain asset and collateral library

Preferred qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Marketing, Communication or Business, or related marketing degree
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, video creation, MailChimp, SendGrid, WordPress and Wix preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; this role will have a focus on copywriting for a variety of areas
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to be flexible, agile, and adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a creative eye or background in capturing photos and/or videos is an asset
  • Able to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative
